IT Network Specialist in the area of FLN (m/f/d)

For our renowned client in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for project support in an interesting project from a qualified:

IT Network Specialist in the area of FLN (m/f/d)

Employment period: from 01.10.2024 until probably 30.09.2027

Employment volume: approx. 3600 hours in total

Location: Special project office of the client close to the infrastructure

Project details:

• Testing, acceptance and release of new hardware and software components (routers, switches and their management systems/automation systems) in the client's network laboratory
• Compilation and presentation of the test criteria in templates and test plans.
Discussion and agreement of the test criteria with the client's central contact person.Execution and documentation of tests and acceptance of new components, software versions, updates and patches.Preparation of the tests (cabling, installation of hardware and software).
• Creation of documents for hardware and software release and corresponding configuration releases.
Transfer of the documentation to the client's central contact person.

Technical requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional or project experience in the setup, configuration and administration of large, complex networks from various manufacturers.
• Experience in dealing with SDN - Enterprise Fabric (Cisco SDA, Cisco ACI).
• Knowledge of routers and switches (various Cisco models)

• Knowledge of WLAN and firewalls (various models and manufacturers).
• Experience in using network analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark).
• Ideally knowledge of OSPF, BGP, IS-IS MPLS and multicast.
• Certification according to ISO 27001 and CCNP.
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and a good command of English.
