Future area of responsibility
Wholesale and foreign trade clerks buy goods and services from manufacturers and sell them on to corporate and private customers. Their tasks include:
- Determining sources of supply and demand for goods
- obtaining offers, comparing conditions and conducting purchasing negotiations
- Check invoices and delivery documents
- Ensure that goods are stored properly
- Planning the delivery and picking of goods
- Calculating prices and processing sales orders
- Processing cost accounting and payment tasks
- Processing complaints and organizing marketing measures
Prerequisites
- Average level of education with good grades in German, mathematics and accounting
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication skills and good manners
Training duration
The apprenticeship lasts 3 years, with the option of shortening the duration
