We currently employ 260 people in Duisburg and at the Bitterfeld site.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as an employee (m/f/d) Accounting & Payroll, either full-time (39 hours/week) or part-time (from 30 hours/week).
Your tasks in the accounting department:
Ensuring the accounting processing of daily business transactions in compliance with tax and commercial law requirements
Timely and correct account assignment of invoices
Obtaining the necessary approvals independently and carrying out payment runs on time
Regular reconciliation of accounts
Maintaining master data and processing the open items list
Expert contact person function for all internal and external interfaces
Inputting ideas for optimizing processes based on your experience
Supporting colleagues in other finance departments in the event of substitution
Your tasks in payroll accounting:
- Independent execution of payroll accounting with our payroll accounting program (with all upstream and downstream processes)
- Comprehensive processing of absences in our time management system
- Routine maintenance of personnel files
- Confident exchange with employers, social insurance providers and health insurance companies
- Competent contact person for employees in all matters relating to salary/payroll
- Active participation in the optimization of our processes
Your qualifications:
- Professional competence: Completed training or further education/studies related to the area of responsibility and relevant professional experience
- Motivation: Interest in responsible and independent tasks, trustworthiness, reliability and diligence
- Your strengths: Enjoy working with a wide variety of people, empathy and strong communication skills. Knowledge of English is an advantage.
