CAD & PLM Administrator (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

• System administration: Installation, configuration and administration of our CAD systems (Catia V5 and Siemens NX) to ensure smooth processes
• Data conversion and monitoring: Management and monitoring of conversions for our PLM data
• Environment management: Setup and maintenance of our CAD/PLM environments via the CAD start tool (myPLM)
• Software installation: Implementation of installations for CAD and CAE tools
• Support and user support: Support for our product developers and first point of contact for user support
• Training: Providing training and support for CAD data exchange in order to offer our users the best possible introduction and support

Your profile:

• Qualification: Completed studies in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification in a technical field

• Experience: At least 3 years of practical work experience in using CAD systems and basic knowledge of 3D CAD design and experience in troubleshooting CAD tools.
• Technical know-how: Knowledge in dealing with data conversions and interface formats (e.g. IGES, STEP, 3DPDF, JT)
• Understanding of interfaces: Good knowledge of network and file transfer protocols such as OFTP2, ENX and FTP and their application in CAD/PLM data exchange.
• IT skills: Experience in the administration of Windows clients, server operating systems, as well as the installation of components and Office 365 applications
• Language skills: Very good German and English skills to communicate effectively with different teams and stakeholders
