Your tasks:

• Process financial accounting on your own responsibility, including accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as the general ledger and subledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and actively contribute to them
• routinely process payment transactions, manage the dunning process and ensure the processing of open items
• Create statistics for public authorities and submit tax reports to the tax office
• correctly reconcile accounts and post bank and cash receipts
• cooperate with tax consultants, auditors and internal departments such as Controlling and Purchasing
• support the preparation of reports and analyses for team management and business management
• are motivated to further develop and optimize accounting processes

Your requirements:

• have completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by further training as a financial accountant, tax clerk or accountant, or a comparable degree
• already have several years of professional experience in financial accounting
• have sound knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code
• A strong analytical mindset and a high degree of flexibility
• English language skills for personal development
