Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) German

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Essen, Ruhr, Germany.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage employee data, attendance, absences, and leave records
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting tasks
• Provide support and guidance on HR-related matters to employees
• Issue necessary certificates and documentation
• Perform general administrative tasks
• Collaborate closely with employees and management

Requirements

• Native or fluent in German (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication, as well as English fluency
• Previous experience in HR administration or payroll accounting is a plus
• At least 1 year of experience in German payroll and labor law
• Proficient in using standard office software and productivity tools
• Ability to work on-site
• High attention to detail
