About us
As part of Centerra, we are looking for a dedicated and attentive Security Guard (m/f/d) in the field of personal and property protection. You will be able to monitor and control access points, conduct patrols and respond to incidents promptly and effectively.
Your tasks
- Ensure that tasks are carried out in accordance with SOPs
- Supervise and authorize the entry of vehicles or persons onto the property/premises
- Conducting regular and random patrols around the site as directed
- Investigate suspicious activity
- Responding to alarms
- Prevent unauthorized entry
- Writing reports in German and English
- Coordination with local emergency services in German if required
- Maintaining the company's good reputation through professionalism and compliance with the law
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring to the table
- Secondary school leaving certificate or national diploma
- IHK instruction according to § 34a GewO
- Weapons expertise according to § 7 WaffG
- Valid first aid certificate
- Minimum age: 25 years
- Fluent in German and English
- More than 2 years of experience in the security sector
- Driver's license min. class B
- Untained police clearance certificate not older than six months
- Excellent monitoring and observation skills
- Knowledge of the legal guidelines for property protection and public safety
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 kg
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and bending during the workday
- Pass a physical fitness test
- Must be able to perform duties while wearing a protective vest
- Must provide a medical certificate stating that they are in good health
